Constellate is a research-first marketing firm that works only with law firms. We are not a law firm, and we are not a general agency that happens to take legal clients. Our methods began as academic work at Oxford, and we built the firm to carry that rigor into the American legal market. We study before we build, and we report in leads and conversions, not impressions.
Two convictions run through everything here. The first is method: every engagement opens with an original study, not a pitch deck. The second is candor: if a tactic will not work in your jurisdiction, we say so. We are researchers who ship. We take what we find, build the Nitrosite its conclusions require, and run the program from there.
Research first. Then we build.
Most agencies guess, then test the guess on your budget. We invert the order. As part of onboarding we conduct an extensive market analysis: your firm, your competitors, your market, and your ideal client. The brief can run dozens of pages, and it is the foundational blueprint for every architectural and editorial decision that follows. It is open access; you are welcome to read it, and see its source data, at any time.
Marketing follows understanding, it never leads it. We provide you what we find, then, and only then, do we build the plan and the website that carries it. We do not lease digital assets; we build proprietary systems you own outright.
The intelligence behind the site.
The Nitrosite is the visible output. The real product is the pipeline that decides what the site and campaign should do, before any work begins. This is the end of guess-and-check marketing.
Before we touch anything, NitroCMS pulls and unifies real data from five sources: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, independent SEO and competitor intelligence (SERP rankings, technical site audits, backlinks, and competitor metrics), and Nexus (our privacy-safe first-party analytics and Lighthouse audits). Weekly, the platform reads all of it together, builds a week-over-week picture, and hands it to our analysis engine, which produces a ranked list of recommendations. Approved actions are then executed by the team.
We are candid about where this stands. The pipeline is built and running on our own infrastructure. We write to its capability and method, not to fabricated client outcomes, because the discipline that makes the engine worth using is the same discipline that requires us to tell you the truth about it.

We do not build for dentists, plumbers, or restaurants. Working only with law firms is not a limitation; it is how we know bar rules, legal keyword economics, and intake.
